Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
Larkup has no account and no analytics, and your alarms and history stay on your iPhone. The free version shows an ad only when you turn off an alarm without its mission; Larkup Pro has no ads.
Ads (free version)
If you use the free version and turn off an alarm without finishing its mission, Larkup shows one ad from Google AdMob. To show and measure that ad, Google may collect information such as your IP address, device type and how you interact with the ad. Larkup never asks for tracking permission, so ads are not personalised with your advertising identifier. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Larkup Pro has no ads.
What stays on your iPhone
Your alarms, saved items (barcode and name), reference photos of places, wake-up history and settings are stored only on your device. Widgets read them from your device too. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Camera, motion and calendar
The camera is used only during missions you choose — scanning a barcode, matching a place, counting squats or checking daylight. Frames are analysed on your iPhone and never saved or sent. Steps are read from Motion & Fitness during the walking mission only. If you turn on the first-event card, Larkup reads today's calendar on your device to show your first event; nothing is stored or shared.
Purchases
Larkup Pro is sold through Apple. We never see your payment details; Apple handles the purchase under its own privacy policy.
Children
Larkup is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
